The Woodlands Township is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors. Directors are elected by the community at large to serve two-year staggered terms. The Board of Directors serves as the legislative body, sets policy and approves the budget. All seven Directors serve on a volunteer basis. Per the Township’s enabling legislation, a Director is not entitled to compensation for service on the Board.

The Woodlands Township honors retiring directors, welcomes newly elected
The Woodlands Township Board of Directors held a reception just prior to the regular board meeting Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at The Woodlands Township. It was held to honor retiring director, Laura Fillault, and newly elected directors John McMullan, Ann Snyder and Carol Stromatt. Read more
